Wednesday update

Once again it’s Hoops for St. Jude Night at the Grizzlies. The Charlotte Hornets are the opponent tonight. Tip: 7 pm. TV: Bally Sports

The Grizzlies beat Washington 109-97 last night.

Today is National Riesling Day.

59 BBQ teams will compete in the inaugural SmokeSlam in Tom Lee Park the first weekend in May. Unlike BBQ Fest, teams can compete in more than one major category (ribs, shoulder, whole hog). There will also be a teens’ competition.
