Don’t forget… Monday is the day Downtown Walgreens marks down all it Easter candy. Go get you some Peeps and some Cadbury eggs and a chocolate bunny. The doors open at 7 AM.

Are Downtown bar curfews coming, following recent violence in the area?

Part of the old Commercial Appeal building at 495 Union have been sold. Those parts may become a storage facility. Some feel that’s not an ideal use of real estate at the gateway to Downtown.

The Blind Bear will have a watch party for the Tennessee vs. Purdue NCAA men’s tournament game at 1:20 PM Sunday. Food & drink specials, giveaways, prizes, live music by Adam Heart after the game. Go Boilermakers!

Thanks to the burrito ministry, which stopped by Court Square this morning. I had a couple of sausage & egg burritos, a bag of buffalo ranch chips, a Caramello bar, and a Coke Zero.
