The CA has a look at The Crazy Coop, the new chicken joint at Main and Madison.

Sad to hear that an MPD officer was found unresponsive on Main Street yesterday and later died. The officer was a 37-year veteran of the department. The death was ruled a medical emergency.

Congrats to BT Bistro at Jefferson and Pauline on its recent 100 on its health inspection.

Today is Feast of the Ass.

Ida B. Wells is now on the U.S. quarter.

Penny’s Memphis Tigers moved up to 18 in this week’s AP poll.

The Brass Door will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays in January and February.

World Ballet Company will perform The Great Gatsby at the Cannon Center Thursday, March 20.
