Tuesday update

The last couple of times the Downtown Memphis Commission board selected a president, they zeroed in on exactly who they wanted. Not so this time – the Daily Memphian reports that they are taking extra time to determine the next person to run DMC. If anything, this decision probably indicates a rich candidate pool from which to choose.

Warren Buffett has released his annual letter to Berkshire Hathaway stockholders. Even if you’re not an investor, his letters are filled with a combination of wisdom, humor, and self-reflection that are worth a read. Buffett is 90 and his longtime business partner Charlie Munger is 97, so we may not have many of these letters left.
